Prof. Dr.-Ing. Diederich Wermser, Director of the University of Applied Sciences in Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel's Telecommunication Laboratory has represented the Communication Systems specialization in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University since 1994. After graduating from the Institute for Theoretical Telecommunication
Engineering at Hannover University, he has led the design and implementation of communication systems and applications in corporations such as British Petroleum (BP), Axel Springer Verlag, US West and VIAG Interkom. As founding partner and managing director for two nationwide network operators he has gathered extensive experience in the corporate implementation of innovations in communication
technology.
